My car clubs one and only road rally been running since the late seventies. This year has made the local papers as the parish council have had complaints and now some prankster on the website is trying to mess things up. Im marshalling this night so should be interesting. Whats the point though people seriously need to cheer up. Its been said a million times before, if someone wants to lend us 200 miles of whites we would be happy to stage the rally there but its not what its about. The police are well aware of the event and no laws are actually broken.

so no speed limits are ever broken on road rallies? No dangerous driving?

Speed limits no, police are aware of the nature of the event. Its a navigational rally. They are regulated to 30mph to keep speeds down. Only on the whites can they drive dangerously.
