**Got the bike now!!**
See below for a couple of pics
Can't bloody wait till the weekend when I can get out on it..
Its a 96 (so the owner tells me, but I believe it to be a 93.. will tell when I pick it up) Honda CR250
I've got it for £400 with 2 flat tyres & a faulty kickstart.
2x tyres can be bought & fitted for around £100 & kickstart issue can be solved for £30 at the most
Well happy!

Pictures of me falling off & injuring myself will be posted early next week

Spot on mate! I've got an '01 CR250 mate and absolutely love albeit it scared the living daylights out of me to begin with as I hadn't rode bikes for about 5 years.

my cousin had an 03 cr80 and it was so much fun, i can imagine the 250 will be a bit of an animal! go easy on it the 80 had a habit of throwin u off the back if u revved too quickly

Funny you should say that! I nearly came off it earlier on. I'd just put the wheels back on it from having the tyres sorted & needed to warm up the engine before dropping the gear oil.
I was going up & down my road & gave it a quick sharp rev in 1st gear & nearly ended up on my back!!!
Should be ok where we're riding tomorrow though cos its pretty boggy... can't bloody wait!

i would never, EVER buy a 2nd hand crosser again
you will end up spending twice the amount you paid for the bike, in repairs
trust me

Aye, that's not mine.. its my mates helmet.
I got the bike for £400 & have spent about £80 on it.. but I think that's not too bad, as its a 96 with what seems to be a very stong engine.
Will probably keep it for a year or so & then get my money back

Thats not true at all, ive had 4 now and only spent what i intended to like plastics graphics etc. It all depends on how old they are.
Im on the lookout for a Honda crf250x or Yam WRF250. Road legal should be fun lol.

i have had five bikes they were all used ie year or 2 old but i never bought private aslways from my local mx shop so if somthing major did go wrong i had a leg to stand on.as long as gear box oil is changed after 4 hard rides be fine.the only thing that cost money is genral up keep and how often you crash it lol
