anyone else on here had their tonsils out?
got mind out on monday after having tonsilitis for the last year n a half basically, and its driving me mad. only got pain killers, nothing to get it better though. had my tonsils out, adinoids, and had my nose insides trimmed so i can breath better. all that put together equals agony. surely gotta be better by tomorrow. can hardly swallow.
anyone else? start a list....

all my goods are intact, Stu (rustyarchs) needs his adinoids done cause he cant breath.

dont even know what they do. cant be that good if u dont need them that much. still wierd the now cos my nose is still blocked. when im drinking its coming through my nose though. hope that doesnt stay like that
my nose wasnt that bad though, but was constantly getting groggy stuff in my throat, which was going to my lungs and affecting my running.
got it all done at once though, dont know if that was a good thing!

Had tonsilitis twice in the last year, if it comes back i'll no doubt have mine taken out. Tonsilits fucking hurts! If the pain your going through now means no more tonisilitis it'll be fine.

yeah had mine taken out hurts like a bitch for over a week, nout you can do about it lol.

nope it never did, first few days i talked croaky but that was it.

i had my adanoids done when i was like 5, GF had her tonsils out siad all she could smell was burning for like a week cos they burnt her sinus' or something

being a singer, im thinking with all my holes being emtied (tonsils, adinoids, trimmed nose, trimmed throat) will all affect my voice.
then again, it was affected anyway with my inflated tonsils.

i am having mine out very soon, being to hospital for the consultation and tests. But at least i have 2 weeks off

yeah, ive two weeks off my work aswell. im ahppy about that, but cant do very much with this pain.
plus youve supposed to not go out for at least 2 weeks so you dont catch infection.....i can see that happening too
