I've been head hunted I was being really lazy about getting my Uni placement sorted and haven't even written my CV yet Well, just found out that one of the lecturers has been trying to get hold of me for about 2 weeks so I can get interviewd by Solid Solutions who ar a CAD company for my placement. It's only the best paid placement that I can possibly get, it's worth something like £16k, but the people who are on it this year are getting an extra £3k. Plus I get a fecking wicked laptop and the use of a company car when I go off on consultancies. I sooo hope I get it! Anyway, I will shut up now

If they give me a job there when I graduate it's worth between £25k and £36k depending on how good you are... Some of the stuff they do is worth about £500 a day, but that's more to do with engineering and testing which isn't my field.
