Got pulled over the other night on the motorway,copper said "do'nt you think your tints are a bit dark". He then tested them with a tint meter in the dark and said they let 19 % light in!!.Bought the car from a garage like that, are they responsible?.Gave me a £30 fine,since ive removed the tints on the front side windows as he said it does'nt matter how dark the rears are.Really annoyed though!!

Its up to you to make sure the car you drive is roadworthy. Front sides must let 70% through.

yeh i got fined by the filth, "glass not at as prescribed" and mine isn't that dark either.
