Seen an R reg one in the local paper. Its met green, has full electrics (everything except a/c ) its got aprox 50,000 miles on it and is apparently in good condition. What are they worth? this one is completly standard with two owners from new. Its advertised for £1550. good, bad? anything to look out for in paticular? going to hopfully look at it tomoro
Only thing that is putting me off is its not from a very good area although if it all seems well and i get a HPI check or something i cant see it been a problem.

its got a good mileage but tbh you'd get a 1.6sport that age for less if you looked hard enough,
i paid £1200 for a 60k miles r-reg one 2years ago,
and last weekend i paid £1000 for a w-reg one with 62k miles,
if you want one shop around you'll get a decent one

il go for a look anyway as i need to have a look around. It seem quite cheap to the others that i have seen on autotrader etc
although i wont be using for another month and i have a car at the moment so there is no major rush

If it was me i'd be looking for one with Aircon and maybe in a different colour, not keen on green personally.

dont think i know enough to do that
think i will just have to keep an eye on the market. I origionally wanted an xe corsa but seeing as i only have a 1.2 8v atm i think a 1.6 will still be quite an improvment plus i would also be more reliable i think.
Coundnt see anything new on autotrader but i found this http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH&miles=1&min_pr=275&max_pr=275&postcode=RM5%203DG&make=VAUXHALL&model=NOVA&locale=STF

That's why I went for 1.6 and not 2.0 I've done the first 18 mths of my driving in a 1.1 Fiesta and I think the upgrade would have been too extreme (and too tempting).....with 6mths left on my 'probationary period' I think the XE might have been a bad idea
