Mine was about that sort of spec - 210bhp. Ran a late 5 to 60, a late 13/ low 14 on the quarter and topped out at 135mph on the limiter at 8250rpm.

Mine's the low compression XE

zero torque! (well 143 lb/ft) which is laughable so the 214bhp was useless. Ran a 14.4 at the pod, should have been running high 13's tho if it actually had some compression

hmm i am debating building one but not sure wether its going to be more fun or much quicker than the 1.6.

thing is, the cost of going further with the 1.6 (steel crank, rods, new cams etc...) is more than the cost to build a c20xe on tb's

mine does qtr in 14.1 but thats witha shafted g/box so should be in the 13 easy next year.
ive had mine at 145 on gps and it still had 2k to go and im sure it would hit the limiter in 5th. as for 0-60 i dunno never really tried but i would say in the 5s or sumit

think you should go 2.0 dave, you could make an awesome one for the money that your would spend developing a small block.

and the big xe sounds awesome on tb's
