Mates doing his, its fully stripped back to bare metal etc, just wondered how they are done - as the heat of them, are they usually powder coated? or is there a high temp primer/paint and lacquer?

Top half of my engine is done in black Hammershite smooth, looks ok IMO... wont have to worry about heat for the moment as it doesn't run
