I have just changed my valves and head gasket due to waterpump failure, My car runs fine now, it idles properly, no smoke coming out of the exhaust, nothing. But the water only seems to circulate when the engine revs at about 2000 RPM + im thinking there is an airlock in the system, what do you guys think? any advice would be helpful.

leave the engine running from cold with the expansion cap off for a few minutes, should sort out any airlocks. is there excess pressure when removing the cap after a good run?

cheers for the advice, but no there isnt excess pressure after a good run. Ive had the head gasket go before, and the more you run it the more pressure builds up in side and the engine overheats, but this aint happening, so i think its weird. Would an airlock cause these symptoms?
