its cool, VTEC actually repairs the engine after 6000rpm. the VTEC driven nano spiders can carry out major component repair during VTEC. they then travel back into the VTEC NanoSpider Lounge located on the driver side of the engine under the Flux Capacitor

Ok,

Services every 9,000 miles.
Diff Oil changed every 27,000.
Plugs Changed at 72,000 (iirc).
Early S2000 had an oil spray bolt recall - make sure this has been done. (I have actually seen a ym2000 without it done in 2006).
Ive sold a few rear brake calipers to these as they tend to seize (usually only low mileage models).
Brake pads and discs (genuine) are quite expensive iirc around 75 quid a disc
Other than that make sure its FHSH, i dont see them go wrong tbh

seriously though as with everything, depends how its been driven and maiintained.

I would by a 100k that looked like it had been cared for but wouldnt touch a tatty car on 100k

i had one battered honda accord when i was workin in america, got it to pick stuff up and do deliverys etc basically no one gave a cack about it.

when i got it it had 169k i drove it, didnt give a damn about it raced and won, finished up having 176k on it not once other then the CV joints did i have a problem with it. started and ran better then any vauxhall i have seen (or rather owned lol)
