nothing heavy handed, just ask them WTF they are doing putting a note on your car when you have a permit, and if they follow you again, you'll notify the police.

make sure you get a good look at them, and make sure they take you seriously.

but DONT go in all fists and feet, as you'll be worse off.

Exactly what i would do

Might be a good idea calling the police beforehand just so they are aware of it, get the officer you speak to's number, that way if anything does happen u have a good point of contact with the police

Depends if they are tree hugging pedestrians who don't run a car and therefore don't appreciate the problem of parking to go to work and expense of paiting the door.

went to the police tonight

said he has never seen a note like that before. said all he could think was that the person that has done this has nothing better to do with their time.

he isn't able to do anything about it as its not been written in a threatening way.

took all the details, I gave the reg number of the car that followed me.

he doesn't reckon that they will damage my car.

he went to look at my car outside just to check my permit etc. then started going on about my front numberplate

I've put a note in the window of my car today and parked it where I normally park it.

Put my work number on it so if they want to contact me then they can.

See if I get a phone call!

Just says I'm parked legally and I work for COMPANY NAME then put the companies telephone number.

Told my Dad about it last night and he said if anything else happens he is going to go round their house on his way to work

Oh and I realised I gave the wrong reg to the police the other day!

I really want them to ring my work. Got a feeling that they wont though. Probably just leave another note on my windscreen

if you know who it was that followed you, if they arn't too intimedating i'd go around to their house and ask them what the problem is. If there is plenty of space and you arn't parking directly infront of their house then you can tell them to G T F in a kind way and be gone. Make sure that you tell them you have notified the police and they will take a keen interest if any suspisious damage happens to your car.
Then walk of in a really smug manor. Maybe moonying them for good measure.
