a San Diego Comic-Con 2006 press conference, SAW III director Darren Lynn Bousman said that the whole crew would be "happy" to return for a fourth film in the series. This includes Tobin Bell, who plays Jigsaw in the series. Bousman said that it all depends on how well the third film does at the box office
