hey...
ok so there's 2 main options for tb's on a 206...
1. airbox and airfilter

2. lowered rad and sausage filter... in this pic below it doesn't have the lowered rad and has open trumpets but it gives you the idea

so here's the thing, i'm liking the idea of option number 2.
the question is then... what kind of bonnet vent (if any) could be used on the 206 to aid cooler air entering the tb's? the trumpets come very close to the front of the car and the rad so i have no ideas and need inspiration!
here's a pic of a front view of the 206 so you can get an idea of the space needed to fit the vent at the front...

all constructive help is very much appreciated
thanks

doubt a bonnet vent would do much, cause you've got them facing the grill anyway. Its gonna get loads of cold air straight in from the front.

only problem is heat coming straight from the rad with option 2

could you not fit the trumpets and have a heatshield type affair underneath the sausage filter to keep the hot air underneath?

Option 2, with a Aluminium plate at the bottom of the filter, so prevent heatsink.
then get a debadged grille, and have the black bit open, for more air.

remove the black plastic bit completely, fit an aluminium heatshield between the radiator and filter, and that should be alot better
although once moving id imagine the cold air coming through would overcome the hot air off radiator, would only have issues with the heat while stood idling etc

yeah, cutting the slats out, and/or removing the badge would make a massive difference, then if you have a heatshield over the rad, it'd be fine.

the one that comes to mind first due to how low down the bonnet it would need to be is a mini style vent possibly depending on the size could be moulded into where the grill is at the moment.. only an idea tho
quick pic to show the vent if u arent sure...

ignore the kit btw first mini i came too with the bonnet vent

definately not number 1. far too restrictive.
Id say lower rad and a sasauge filter with heatshield.

Dont debadge the bonnet, the badge is vented anyway

number 1 IMO would be a good option, bigger plenum for the trumpets to sit into etc, just put a bigger neck on it for the filter..... my old air box had a 100mm neck

could try and do what people have started doing on Corsa's and put morrettes in with a cold air feed in one of the lenses and connect that to the sausage filter. Maybe not the best route for air and maybe not possible I dont know! Just an idea!
