Need to go get my eyes tested again cos its been ages since I've last had it done.
Considering now getting contact lenses....
because I hardly ever wear my glasses anymore, and I'm really meant to wear them most of the time.
Which do people prefer?
Daily / Monthly
What sort of cost are they?

£10 per month for monthly ones
Currently testing daily ones and they are 65p per pair.
Not really noticed any difference in comfort between the two types although sister tried dailys and said they weren't as comfortable.
Daily ones so far I really rate, no cleaning solutions required as just chuck them when finished

I have soft monthly ones. Cost me £20 a month.
Very comfortable and I tend to wear mine longer than I'm supposed to. Regularly frequent smokey bars etc.. never had a problem with them.

My sister said she prefers dailys....because she doesnt necessarily wear them everyday and said that meant they were fresh every time she put them in.
I would really only need mine for work etc...
so stick them in in the morning...wear them all day and take them out in the evening. Dont really need them for going out etc. Maybe every now and then at the weekend.

I have monthly ones that I take out at night. £15 a month.
Tried the ones that you can sleep in and only take out to replace them after 30 days but they irritated my eyes.

I so wish I could wear them, but I cannot get them in my eyes. I went for the free trial and had a right nightmare with it.
It would be good if I could wear them, make me much better in goal especially now we have to play under floodlights.

Just keep trying. You will get the hang of it eventually and then it'll become 2nd nature.
I originally had hard contacts for about 5 years then swapped to soft ones 3 months ago and they are quite different in size and how to take them out. Thought I would never get the hang of it but a week later I didn't even have to think about it to be able to get them in and out.
