Alright people!

Im doin a guest slot at a night on Saturday which they have described as 'Electronic Alternative'.

Basically its a night run by lads who also run a successful Indie night, meant to be indieish but more eclectic.

Got a fair idea of what i want to play but gimme some suggestions of tracks you like/would play/would expect to hear, maybe it will spark up some inspiration for me.

I do have a decent idea of the sort of thing im gonna play, got a set i will probably go with, just thought a few random suggestions might trigger off some good ideas, never hurts to keep thinkin!

a few indie/house tracks maybe, senven nation army (adam freeland mix) that type of stuff, or you could go proper electro alternative and play a bit of SWitch stuff Bang bang(switch remix) etc although that is quite a nihe taste.

As its a first time im gonna keep it quite safe and more indie, as its basically so he can get any idea if im any good with a view to a residency, once im established im gonna verge more towards the dancy stuff.

Probably play a few digitalism remixes, few Phones remixes, some dancier manchester stuff, mondays, roses etc. Stick the odd mad one in between

there is a good house mix of fools gold iirc, Can't remember who by or anything though.

Ive got the grooverider mix of fools gold in my set, also a Dj Shadow track. Im also toying with the idea of playin the first track off New Forms just to wake every1 up as well!
