I loved it to, was quite quick, but at the time i was getting paid 250 quid a month and couldnt afford to fix it, if i had it still it would be fixed now ...

Well,

that's if it's blue smoke, which is oil getting into the combustion chamber.

White is a coolant burn, from water getting in (HG gone usually)

Black is overfuelling

Mine was blue, black, white....

Causeeeee the valve stem seals had gone and there was hole in the valve...

You should have moved all your parts onto a working Sport, sold the SXi and not fucked about with the engines

It was my advice when he asked how to fit the 1.6 into his car... But never mind, with a bit more luck it would have worked out, such a shame
