Nice car Colin, good value for money there! I'm toying with a Golf Mk2 GTi too, or a Pug 205. Going to buy one of them when I get back from working away.
Euro is pretty good for spares and modified bits and bobs. Cheap as chips too. Thats what I love about VAG, cheap to run.

Was just about to post those pics... really miss my Mk2, turned so many heads and was just a really good car in the time I had it.. only thing it needed was a 20vt...
Got plenty pics if you want any for ideas Colin... wee things make the diff with VW's. like the scuttle on mine had the extra holes removed after single wiper was fitted... nobody ever noticed though, which I see as a good thing..

Was considering one but then quit my job in favour of furthering my studies...good thing I stalled at the time or it would be gone by now anyway
