the 1.6 is slow, 1.8 is ok.

I like them, but prepare to be called gay/hairdresser/gay again.

is the 1.6 loads slower than the 1.8? i loved how quick my dads was in any gear, 4th gear to take a corner was still quicker than my corsa in second!

I wouldnt say they were quick. Friends wife had a 53 plate from new. 1.8 with a 6speed box. Was slower than my car. Only 140bhp i think

one of fthe few cars nowerdays that doesnt have a heavy input from the bean counters of car production. so has fantastic development.

One of the best cars if driven tbh. Feels fantastic down twisty B roads. You can be so confident driving one. Its unreal. Couldnt recomend on more!!!

BUT be prepared to be slated for driving one

im not overly bothered about the convertible element, its just the way it feels like such a focussed drivers car, really quick (imo) so comfy and so responsive!

I hate them. too much of a gay/hairdresser image. plus they are far too slow for a 'sports car'

no offence, just my opinion.
