Used mine for the first time in ages the other day...
They work fine and everything, but didn't switch themselves off 
IIRC they should go off after a few minutes? Is there a relay for this?

Mine stay on until I turn the ignition of as far as I know, not had them on long enough to notice tbh, will keep an eye on it over the coming winter months.

Should be a thermastat. Mine used to stay on for quite a while.
