They aren't that good in the wet because they are such a soft compound...

They should be a softer compound to help there wet weather performance...confused.

I liked my T1-R's, but not amazing in the wet.

I'm using Goodyear Eagle F1's at the moment, and they're much better in the wet about the same in the dry. Lasted longer than Toyos too.
