well a few of you may have seen my corsa turbo about i went the to the rolling road day down here in wales and ran 254 bhp and 273 ft lbs at 8psi so that was very pleasing but i didnt get a decent reading on high boost!

well it has been running an f20 gearbox and i have had endless troubles with the f20 as it has blew one box stripped fifth on one and the one currently on there has random moments where it wont go into gear and gets stuck which is very annoying i have also managed to destroy a cossvuax uprated hub in big style when having a play with an evo on the m4 was in fifth stamped on the throttle pedal and heard a load bang and a funny and very scarey vibration

this should be attached do this

so i have finally gone out and spent some money to make it more reliable and much quicker!

well recently i have bought an f28 which has recently had a rebuild already converted to 2wd and had the 2wd speedo drive put in the box so the speedo is accurate, i have bought a quaife lsd to go in there as its terrible for wheel spinning even in 4th and sometimes fifth, i thought a new clutch would be aite but then i thought i might aswell spend a bit of money and buy an all singing all dancing sach paddle clutch with uprated pressure plate and release bearing!

i have also purchased a pace charge cooler i will be running my current intercooler plus the pace charge cooler i am planning on putting my battery into the boot and put charge cooler where battery tray is!

the turbo on my corsa is a hybrid kkk 16 with bigger exhaust and compressor wheels 360 degree bearings but recntly it has started to smoke slightly when left to idle for 10-15 mins so i have decided to have it recon'd and the people i have chosen fo rthe job are turbo dynamics the guy seemed really helpful and knowledgable, so i have removed the turbo today

ready for them to recon and maybe take the turbo a stage further well see wot they say!

i have ordered my f28 mount from chris astley as i ordered my replacement flange from them and it was of good quality etc.

Excellent work, keep us posted.

My F20 is on its last legs too (anyone fancy donating an F28?)
