10 hours to remove a gearbox from a 1.4 16v sport

ive only been there for 3 of them though, finally off.

everything from tools snapping to not having then to linkage not coming off
and going dark didnt help especially with a bedroom lamp for a light

bet people do a full conversion in less time

Not sure if I could get the gearbox out that quickly, it looks quite tight. Though I have never tried it so it could be easy

I could have done with using your skills yesterday. I've damaged a valve in the 2nd cyclinder of my 1.0l. Never done anything technical before. Was reading from a haynes manual.

I have taken 2 engines out (one out of a corsa, one out of a astra) some maintainance on the XE then fitted it into and got it plumbed in and wired and running in 7 hours.
