Actually you say that and I remember when Rachel had picked her Astra up from Ipswich and she was following me home when I had the Coupe 2.2 16v a 172 was in front of us, booted it up the slip road I admit he was getting away from me but not at the rate I thought he would.

Opinion change, the GSi would beat it.

Maybe I under estimatef the efficency of the 100bhp shot of nitrous had on the 172 Cup I raced up the strip in Rachels GSi because I got whooped

Just sold my astra coupe turbo, was a great car, didnt really wanna get rid of it, but had some money burning a hole so upgraded. I waited for the right one 36k fvsh, and it never missed a beat in just under a yr of ownership, great power delivery and surprising fuel economy, only downsides for me were cabin wind noise, doors annoying 2 stage opening and seats werent that comfortable, other than that was a great drive......

Keith mate, give me a shout and we can meet up and il take you out in mine or if you have insurnace you can take it out

I would agree some times it doesnt feel like its got massive raw power, but then its not meant to its meant to be a smooth fast cruiser really!

and yeh there are a few problems here and ther, but nothing really and no more than any other car you would get!

Its a really smooth car, my mate has a Dc2 Integra r/r at 198bhp and its pretty much neck and neck.

Never raced the 182 from a standin start, coming out of a 30mph zone onto the dualies, prob would have had me off the line as the t/c on the gsi is a bit of a pain.
