Looking to borrow some money for a new car, i have a settlement figure to pay off my corsa which i think the sale of the car will cover. Just looking for the best places to check out for loans or any other advice about this.

I have one with Alliance and Leicester.
Never had a problem with them, HOWEVER, it is the biggest mistake I've made to date.

How much are thinking about borrowing? Make sure it is a sensible amount that you can afford easily each month.

I borrowed £8000, and I pay £208.40 a month, for 5 years.
I wish I hadn't done it, I have nothing to show for it now.

Why is that? Surely if you can afford to pay it up and you have somthing to show for it its ok.
Im paying finance just now anyway so the loan will replace this payment
