Anyone seen this website before? http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/

Makes quite an interesting read. If you look at the graph it would seem that it could come down again in the near future, but I doubt it to be honest. BOE will ensure that the interest rate doesnt have a massive effect and maintains the house prices.

Some of the "experts" on the bottom dont seem to know what they are talking about!! 50% drop

Can't see it happening to be honest.

House prices have roughly doubled in the past 10 years. I see no reason why this trend won't continue.

Some of the 06 predictions have but some are predicting it for the next couple of years. It made me wonder when you look who is predicting though, as there are some huge names that you would think will know the score.

Houses prices will probably double again in 10-15 years according to experts. Now really is the time to buy property for those who rent!

I think there might be a slight drop. Think it might happen just after xmas as the BOE are going to put interest rates up a further .25pc and with the xmas credit spending it may mean that people cant afford there mortgage payments and they are forced to sell for a knock down price which could mean that all properties take a hit.

Up here in the NE the market it is flat, there is an over saturation of new build which is making it increasingly difficult for people to sell their properties. In fact their have been some quite noticeable drops in quite prominent areas in the NE.

Yeah there are 2 houses in my parents street that were on the market for £180 about 8-10 months ago. One has just sold for £159 and the other has had little to no interest.

I certainly know the Grove Park development in Gosfoth has been a money pit, when they carried out there original sales appraisal on the site it was right at the peak of the property boom and now people are struggling to even recoupe what the paid for a new build on the site18mths ago.

That's exactly why I'm going to do my own house

Yeah my boss bought a couple of flats at the Baltic and he cant sell them for what he paid for them. It seems people want budget accomodation, not exclusive.

Build your own house Moe? You can do mine too if you want? I have some beers and a packet of peanuts I can pay you with

Ive heard there are some nice places down at the Fish Quay with some great views too.
