Not for me for my GF
She started a 2nd job yesterday which is part time (monday and tuesday afternoons) At Laura Ashley.
She was feeling unwell on Sunday, then it was her 1st day yesterday and she felt worse and today is her second day and she was up all night throwing up. Shes got a flu/cold thing and feels like shit. Shed struggle not to pass out from fever on the shop floor
now the predicament is can she call in sick on her 2nd day? Or should she just stick it out?
I reckon she has to go in as you just cant phone in sick on your 2nd day. Its only 5hours work, maybe she could survive it?
What would you do

IMO you cannot call in sick on her 2nd day, I would suggest to her to suck it in for a couple of hours then get sent home, looks so much better in the long run.

as it's only 5 hours I'd try and make the effort to go in. At least if she goes in they can see how unwell she is. They might send her home.
Depends how she feels though.

if it's only her 2nd day best to struggle in and as said hopefully they will send her home.
