I think Repsol will be re-evaluating their line up for the final race

trouble is theyve both already signed for next year, never ever seen Hayden loose his cool. Hayden should have wrapped up the title by now but "thats racing", 8 points is still doable even if the man in font is Rossi!!

Yeah, but that was stupid.
Maybe they have signed....but there is always a contract clause for a sacking.....thats my guess in this instance

Doubt it, Rossi won his second race and came fourth in his third..
He had bad luck at the start of the year with chatter, but everyone else has had probs..
Stoner hasnt completed 6 races and would be a serious title contendor although they were mainly all his fault.
Sete's also had 6 non finishes
Capirossi suffered from the the crash with Sete
Since America Haydens been suffering from genuine clutch problems which have led him not to reach a podium since
at the end of the day thats racing!

Come on Rossi! IMO Valentino is a living legend. really hope he holds out for the win!
Have to be honest though, Hayden has come on in leaps and bounds this season, seriously good rider and really the only one to show Rossi some proper competition for a while!

I think Rossi will do it again.
Nice to see a slightly more competative championship though. Makes for great entertainment and a bit more interesting than Rossi wrapping the title up with 4/5 races to go like he usually does.
I think if Rossi does win it this year he should think about moving on soon. Some of the rookies have looked very very fast this year and id hate for Rossi to become a has been. Quit motoGP while he's ahead and perhaps look more into that move over to F1 we always hear rumours about......

Please, sete cannot be considered a title challenger IMO
Edit - i mean he shouldnt have been considered a title challenger at start of season and therefore not included in your list.
What happened to Melandri too Everytime he wins Toby and Julian on Eurosport say this is it, hes finally living up to his reputation etc, then we dont see him again for 3 months.

Sete should have been considered a title contendor imo, he's been fast in the past and knows whats its like to win races..
However since Mr46 made him run wide for the last corner of the first race in 2005 he hasnt been the same and just lost his edge completely.
As for Melandri I know what you mean, he finished off really strong last year winning two or three? races
was routing for him to do really well this year, but he started off slow and started to get it together after that big accident with the dukes but now he has an absolute poor result compared to his team mates first place.
Want to see Elias, Melandri, Hayden, Capirossi and Stoner do well next year.
Hope Stoner does ok in 800's should suit him better, think he's come up to the big bikes to early imo

You speak wisely.
With regards to sete though, as a top rider earning big bucks, he should have been able to be professional about 'that' incident at Jerez (i think) and got back on with it. I personally think it fucked him up mentally which as a bloke at the top of your professionm shouldnt happen. Its happned to loads of other, same could be said for big crashes, but they have just got back on bike.
Was it the 2004 season that Sete pushed Rossi? If so, I think he was just riding on the crest of emotion that he obtained from losing his team mate Kato. I think he felt he was racing for him. once the emotian calmed down, so did his results.

Yeah kato's death was in 2004, and then sete won the race after that and had quite a good season, him being Rossi's nearest rival, different story since though, Setes had two disasterous years.
Rossi plays very good mind games, think its just part of his character!
