Just looking on AMD. Am I missing something? Their re-maps seems rediculously expensive (£640 for 30 brake) when you can get the same thing for £170 less from Revo, with a "claimed" extra 10 brake .

revo is cheaper, and does the same thing
well better imo because you can get an SPS device that allows you to adjust your map, boost and timing.

This is what I have, a generic map that is custom tweaked

Presume all tuners use a generic map that can be tweaked if neccessary? Well, except the "one click" thing. Any ideas on the adverse effects of the tuning? Reduced engine/turbo life etc?

Been looking into the tuning on the new 1.9CDTi Astras. Can get 195 out of a stock 150 engine, which seems like good going, and even better because it's switchable with the "sport" button on the dash. Seems like a good comprimise between economy (the reason you buy a diesel) and performance.

Yeah, the re-map is done by 888 too, but under their VXRperformance centre name. the 888 gains an extra 5 brake i presume from the exhaust system
