finished spraying the center console etc other day & have now put it back in the corsa, looks much better than standard

first time i have done this so im well pleased with the way it has come out

cheers peeps thought a bit of black wont look out of place as the headunit is the same.

Well done, definitely a change from the more obvious colours that everyone paints them. Very subtle, I like it a lot.

Cool very nice doing it shiny black, i attempted to do my old handles mettalic black but it always came out burgundy/brown in sunlight so gave up in the end! Gloss black looks ace

Get some vectra interior handles next

Clairef : which "end bit" dash vents?

Robbo: shouldn't crack but i didn't think bout it at the time will keep my eye on it

oh thats fiddly but pretty easy when you know how

-take the light switch off same as the heater knob (pull out and unclip with small screwdriver)

-use pin nose pliers to pull the headlight switch out & unclip the connecter behind it using screwdriver

-pull fog light & beam adjuster out

-take the fuse cover off below the light switch & undo 2 screws

-press the vent down so that you can see the 2 screws @ the top (behind the vent) and undo them

-firmly pull the whole thing out

-unclip both fog light & adjuster connecter from the back

-then once the whole unit is out you can unclip the cover so that the vent comes away & makes it easier to sand and spray

hope that makes sense
