Dunno what mark it was but the one that an EK9 is.

What are they like?

I'm guessing they arent very comfortable? As in a smooth ride etc....

Leon Cupra R and Astra GSi Turbo are on my list of cars and I was wondering if one of these could be a possibility.

Other than the EK9, which models are worth looking at?

Anything else worth taking into account

Dont know what they drive like but they dont look anything special.

Not as nice as Cupra R or a GSi Turbo.

TBH the LCR is top of my list purely for VAG build quality and comfort but im still fairly open as wont be buying for about 8 months

All Civics that shape are EK9 aren't they?
I was talking about the VTi effort.

Sounds like you are talking about the import CTR.

The EK9 shape, there known as EK's, the 9 means its the 185bhp Civic Type R Import.

Welsh dan had one.

Think they are 185bhp from 1600cc

Throw some spoon or mugen goodies at them and you will see some good power gains.
