i like sams town, read my mind and uncle johnny. You need to remember this is a completely different album wrote at a different stage of the bands evolution its not an anthemic album like Hot Fuss was.
Must admit i was gutted it wasn't at that level after the first listen but i realised there's not many albums that stand up to Hot Fuss for the amount of quality songs, i never skip 1 song when i listen to it!

Yeah I was the same initially. I wanted something to rival Mr Brightside to just jump out at me. On listening to it the whole way through a few times it works really well as an album.
