I know this has been asked a 100's of time but what are people payin for there Xe'd corsa's...Im 20yrs old & 2yrs NCB.

Adrain flux want £1900 tpft but ive only got 2 months left on my policy so i just pay whats left but thats with 1yrs NCB and all mods declared...But it should be cheaper as like i said im up for renewl soon..

Ive just rang them to get them to send the write paper work so i can declare it..But what about the Dvla how do i go about declareing that? Plus How much is the tax on a Xe'd corsa now..as i know u pay for the CC of the engine..
Im gonna do some shopping around for some quotes to see what i can come up with..

im 20 2 years no claims pay 1400 fully comp insured mine for full engine transplant etc not been done yet was just cheaper this way

When you declare your engine to DVLA you need to send of you old V5 log book with the amendments ie: new engine cc, new engine number etc. Also an engineers report regarding the engine and a copy of the V5 document the engine was taken from if you have it, or if it's a reconditioned engine all the details will be on the paperwork when you bought the engine etc. That's the way I did it anyways... took about 6-8 weeks. But if you don't hear by then definitely phone up and tell them when you sent everything off and that you need your new amended V5 back to re-tax your car.

Oh btw- when are you 21 because Greenlight (01277 263030) are excellent for me but only insure people 21+...

danny, that is exactly same quote as what i got in jan, im now 21 tho and 1yrs ncb so will let u know when i ring up this week dude
