Im new to the car thing, having only being driving less than a month...

Ive fitted my 6x9's in the rack thing in the boot however i am waiting for the all clear off some1 to fit them to my cd player jus incase an amp is needed e.t.c.

randomly i am using a saxo cd player

and have all standard speakers in my car, whatever watt they are lol

the speakers i have bought of 6x9s ripspeed 40 rms and 80w for £30:

what im wondering is:

1. is this a good deal?
2. will i need an amp?
3. how different will they be from standard speakers in car
4. as im on a tight budget is there anything else you would recomend

obviously you can see im a bit new to the hole thing so any help would be v.welcome
