O2 Support have identified a hoax e-mail currently being circulated warning of a scam and requesting the e-mail to be sent on to advise others of the threat.

The subject field in the email reads: "Please inform everyone".

If you receive an email with this title, it should be deleted immediately and should NOT under any circumstances be sent on. Although this mail is not a virus it has the potential to overload the e-mail services causing congestion and delaying internal e-mails being sent. If you’ve any doubt over the legitimacy or source of any e-mails the item should be deleted and removed from the deleted items folder.
