The front shocks are diffrent and so are the springs, the springs can be cut to be made to fit though

What i think he means is

If halfords sells a Spax kit for an Astra it will fit every car in the world accoding to Mr Ripspeed.... however if he bought it from a place that knows that they are talking about then it would just fit the car its intended for.

I can only assume John is Mr Ripspeed
