I've just got a new monitor and its better than the current tv so I want to run a 360 through it do i need one of these?

I dont think the monitor will have any off them connections on it.

You need a Xbox VGA cable you can buy them from pc world etc.

The monitor has the DVI input

You don't need one of the cables in the 1st link.
You need a vga cable for the xbox as said.
Why would the monitor not have dvi though?

I wouldn't buy an lcd without dvi in.
Only cheap monitors don't have dvi.
