Anyone here happen to be in parts at vauxhall? Vauxhall Monterey 3.1TD 1995 year, was wondering if vaux would stock engine parts, like Pistons, etc for it. Basically, engine isnt in a good state and weighing up whether its worth getting a new engine for it or having a laugh repairing it. Worst case, could strip it for parts as it has some nice leather in good condition and other bits worth a few quid.

right, full story is a mate has the car, engine overheated badly and isnt in a good state, needs quite a bit of work but i fancied something to occupy my time and it is repairable. i can get the whole car for 200 quid and fancied a laugh. Might be worth just buying it and ebaying the parts off to make a bit of money then

dammit, thought i could have some fun and make a few quid at the same time.
Option 2 however is an Alfa 145 cloverleaf thingymabob, which runs like shit at mo. Probably wouldnt get that for under 800 quid tho
