parts will be cheaper. and i doubt the company i work for now will be going much longer as theyre shit no travel either. its near the top of my road

I worked for a local Vauxhall dealership for 18 months when I finished Uni and the pay was appauling. I got £11k when I started (below miniumum wage!) and then got it upped to £12.5k pa once I'd had a word with the Department of Trade and Industry and Inland Revenue. This was for 5 days a week from 0830hrs to 1730hrs and every other Sat 0830hrs to 1230hrs. I got parts at cost + 5% which was brilliant and got access to the workshop whenever I wanted. This didn't make up for the lack of pay, but it was good at the time. Wouldn't go back to working at a dealership again tho, lol!

My mate worked in parts for merc & said the pay was appauling....£12k - £15k for your run of the mill parts gimpo & £18k - £20k for a manager.
