I press the accelerator, lift up the clutch and the car just bogs down and takes a few seconds unitl the power kicks in.
Ok I do have an induction kit which probably doesnt help anything but what can i do to improve the response time?
It has had a fairly recent set of spark plugs, oil and oil filter.
Also how would I go about cleaning my induction kit?

I found with induction kit that you had to rev it a bit more when setting off as there was a flat spot. Try putting the air box back in and see if you still have the same problem. Buy a can of air filer cleaner, spray it and rinse. The can comes with full instructions printed.
