you could take the bumper off, mask it up and spray just the ridge red??

stripe tape is the same stuff as thay use in the bumpers and wont come off whan it rains

Sparky tape won't stick very well, especially if your bumper has silicone on it, which it will as nearly every car has had some bumper black put in it once in a while
