Going to do some work on our wheels prior to fitting the new alloys and want to invest in a cheap but reliable trolley jack and axle stands.

Seen one on ebay but it seems to be a bit to good to be true, suspect it is because of the fact it is a 2 tonne jack with 3 tonne axle stands.

Is this enough to lift a Corsa b or do I need a higher lifting capacity?

I don't want to spend a furtune as I am not really likely to use it as often as you guys. Much rather get somebody else to do the work.

After all, this manual stuff breaks my nails

machine mart. look on their website.

their stuff is good solid quality and is well priced. ask them if they have any clearance items and get as big a trolley jack as you can afford.

What do you reckon to this?

I've worked out the 2t will lift the car OK so it is now down to reliability. Last thing I want is a car coming down on Jay when he is working on it.

Hope the link works OK

thats what you want. ask for a trade discount as well, 10-15% usually.

they last years and are much etter than the cheap shite on e-bay. get a proper handle as well so its easier and quicker to jack up the car.
