Which is better for noise? i only have a 1.2 but want a bit more noise and considering buying one on ebay but not sure which one is better. I heard that the foam in the pipercross is better to get the air in that true?

the make of filter does not determine the noise,
the way you attach the filter does

thats from my experience anyway

for best protection, dril airbox on cool side and use std panel filter

for increased flow and good protection and long life get a k&n panel filter

for greatly increased flow but not as long life get a pipercorss

k&n panel or piper in a std airbox with the side modyfyed is the best option imo
