I like the Lupo a lot. I'd definitely have to consider one if I went back to a small car.
You want to do something like this, a localish one to me. Subtle but effective.

parts/mods seem to be cheap as chips for these, thinking could do a few subtle mods on a small budget that would make a big difference to the car.
