Got my back windows tinted the other day so heres a few pics. Didn''t want the fronts done cos hate the hassle that you get from the police and just wanted something subtle and not too chavvy!

Always a shame about the shiny silvery rim you get when doing hatches like corsas because of the black bobbles on the windows.

Tell me about it!! Keep trying to push the silvery bit down but doesn't clear it. It's a good job apart from that though!

You needed to scratch them off with a blade before hand. No doubt the installer blagged you and told you it'll settle and disappear...it won't believe me I was there for weeks after pushing it down with some shit tool he gave me.

ahhh, my bad! sorry thought it was ok cos the police didnt mention it during a spot check? loads of cars here with the same style of font? cheers for pointing it out anyways lads.

they are still illegal though, there is a set font your allowed, anything different to this isn't legal.

back to black is shit, get some autoglym bumper care or some plastic resotrer/dye type stuff for them.

Geting my windows tinted soon, We do them at work. Just need a steamy hot cloth aparntly to get rid of the silver line, acording to lad at work?

that is the font for irish plates now
and it is a irish plate so may well be technically legal?

is that right burgess? i have no idea as i've only just moved over here 7 months ago. wondered cos everything else is different i.e no DVLA, an mot's are well different!!
