I have a Holden Barina 96 GSI 1.6L What is it in the Vauxhall B or C and What is the engine X???????.
Thats Guy I am new and am look at the engine upgrade path, either Turbo, or maybe supercharger.

Its a Corsa B mostlikely a C16XE.

think the aussie holden barina gsi's were all 1.6 8v engines.

Barina GSi's were all C16XE and X16XE engines. pre-1996 were predominantly C16XE engines. in fact, more C16XE engines went into the Barina than the X16XE. I suspect more C16XE than the Corsa B had in the UK too
