I need to do a project as part of my sparky course & been told to decide by next week what im doing it on.

Example given for whats expected was that a previous student worked for railway services in the workshop & designed a simple visual warning system for when the volume got past the safe working db the lights changed to let you know to use the ear plugs. Seems simple enough

Now I need an idea, something similar that isnt too complicated but isnt too easy at same time. Ive got to pay for components out my own pockets so nothing too flashy

Already been suggested I buy a huge capacitor & make a stun gun....which ive not totally written off the idea
