for a 1.4 8v, easy.

mounts are the same, loom is the same (if you have the SPI engine, everything like that.

if you go for MPI (sri engine, or 16v) the loom will be different,, you'll need an MPI fuel pump, and the mounts (well, one of) are different for the 16v

Me and Matt talked about this earlier Rob as he wants more power but cant affor huge engines+insurance yet. I then remembered you told me that the 1.4 was very under-torqued

Whats the amount he'd need to spend to get a 1.4 running in his car?

To be honest, the 1.4 is pretty much the same kinda stats as the 1.2 16v, you dont gain much apart from a bit more torque (but negligible) and a bit more wieght.

Engine conversions are pretty expensive though, if you dont do it yourself.
