I have had a quote off MSD to re-map the Sport. He quoted me £275 including VAT.
Good price?
Anyone dealt with them?

fepends what method of re-mapping they use.
if they remove the eprom that holds the map and then replace it with a programmable one and then copy the original settings onto it, run it on a rolling road and 'live map' it then it sounds like a fair price.
if they map via the diagnostic port, dont bother.

It was a quote for live mapping.
With regards to the Diag port, is this bad?

I have mailed him for info. To ensure the ECU is not a 'tricky' one as he put it, he needs the ECU number and make. I can't check this yet as the car is in the bodyshop. Once he has this, he can tell me for definate how it will go.
JR, I got the link from PassionFord, and i know they have a good reputation on there.
