Thanks guys! I've got to sort the shifter out tomorrow, because I cant get all 5 gears and reverse at the moment. I got to put the exhaust on, and the interior, get the wheels refurbed, tax MOT and insurance!

Thanks again! I've got the SRI interior which came with the car when I bought it, as it is a late SRi, which is mint apart from drivers seat, the guy who owned it before me was a right porker! lol!

Yeah watch out mate, i seriously under estimated costs, trouble is when you take the car apart you find so many parts that need replacing!
I've replaced pretty much every single nut and bolt under the bonnet! Also I under estimated how much time it would take to do the car. It is difficult! lol! If you got dedication then you can do it, at several points I've considered backing out and selling everything, glad I didnt though, cant wait to get her on the road! Cheers for the comments guys!

Was caribic blue to start with, then had it resprayed in arden, the BEST colour around IMO.

Managing to balance a engine on your head by the flywheel whilst reading the Haynes manual? That is talent!

that looks really good, just hope nothing has fell in engine witth the inlet left open speaking from experience it is best to stick some rags in the ports to stop any debris falling in

Love the colour, one of my favs at the moment.
Dare I ask how much the prep and spray set you back?
We start ours in 2 weeks and would be nice to compare our prices and bodywork budget to see if we are seriously adrift somewhere.

£1850 for the whole job, bit too much IMO
