We just mot'd a Chimera 4.2ltr and its started smoking like shit from the engine bay.... managed to get the bonnet open and now if wont start... just clicks!

haha think TVR man isnt gonna be happy!

Think the starters caught fire!

We said the apprentice touched one of the buttons inside which adds more fuel to the engine ( ) so it can go faster.... and because it was just idling thats what caused the fire!

He looks a little scared!

he's really worried his gonna get told off now too! haha i told it'll be ok... he can just pay for the new starter motor monthly... like £10 a month.

I even rung TVR while he was next to me to get a price

£320 + vat!

cos of where the starter motor is it gets extremely hot..... mates used to play up when it got too hot.

It might be alright you never know
